inspired by Maurizio Cattelan and Paul Cezanne On 1 May, the Fondation Beyeler invites visitors to experience the Cezanne exhibition in swimwear. Taking inspiration from Paul Cezanne’s iconic Bathers series, this intervention playfully brings the artist’s vision of the human body in nature into the present day. The unusual setting opens a dialogue between art and viewer, shifting perception, dissolving distance, and introducing a touch of humour and freedom in the spirit of Maurizio Cattelan. Visitors arriving at the Fondation Beyeler in swimwear on this day will be granted free admission.
